The best way to find a write in at a time and place that works for you? Create one and let the group know about it by sending an email to PCSockmonkeyWriters@gmail.com or using the Questions? Ideas? box on the sidebar of this blog.
Please be sure to include the following information for any event(s) you submit:
Your name
Your best contact email (where you don't mind other writers from the group contacting you in case they can't find you or have a question - this will NOT be published on the calendar, but is for reference and will only be given out if they contact the Sockmonkey admins with a question)
Type of Writing Event
Date of Write in or Event
Time and Duration of Event (either 2 - 4 p.m. or 2 p.m. for 2 hours, etc.)
Location of Event (Name and Address or weblink if a Zoom/online meeting***)
Any other information you think would be helpful to people who wish to attend
***Updated to add: Zoom/Online event links will NOT be put on the calender listing to keep random internet folks out. If you want to attend a specific Zoom or other online event and you're not in the Facebook group or our Discord where the links are shared privately, please send a request for the link to the Sockmonkey email listed above with the date/time of the event you're interested in and the link will be emailed to you as soon as possible.
