Hello everyone!
I'm sure we're all experiencing a lot of big emotions today and will continue to do so in the coming days. Because of that, I wanted to take a moment to focus on self-care and explore how that could look.
Many of us may already know this but there are different ways self-care can manifest. In general, I see these categories a lot:
- Physical
- Emotional
- Spiritual
- Social
- Financial
And a really important one in times like these: Community.
In self-care conversations, we talk a lot about face masks, bubble baths and food but there's so much more out there.
Today, I encourage everyone to try a different avenue of self-care. Maybe that's sitting with a friend, stretching your wrists out, or engaging in some comfort shows or podcasts. I know for me, it's taking a step away from writing for a day- without the guilt!- and eating some comfort food.
Whatever you choose to do, do it with kindness.
