Happy one full week of RebelWriMo!!
(Cue loud cheers - and maybe some exhausted ones too.)
Alright, time for some real honesty with yourself. How’s your self-care going?
Whether it’s going great or “could be better”, I’m here with some quick tips!
Let’s all together run through a quick checklist together. See if you can do a few of these if you haven’t in the last few hours:
Stretch your neck to both sides. (I like to try to have my ear “touch” my shoulder on both sides, and then look side to side, then up and down. Repeat as needed.)
Stretch your fingers. Curl them open and close, then stretch them out.
Stretch your wrists. Flex your hands to help with this.
Unclench your jaw, and stretch your mouth. (We all forget this one)
Drink some water (or juice or whatever you like)
Have a little snack (or maybe a meal). Yes, a handful of cheese absolutely counts!
Roll your shoulders back, then forward. Repeat as needed
Look at something other than your phone/notebook/computer screen. Something at least ten feet away, for at least twenty seconds. (Adjust distances and times as you want)
